Job Description:
Goucher College's Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Cultural Anthropology beginning in August, 2010. Teaching responsibilities will include: Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, a one-credit writing course for majors, anthropological theory or methods, and additional courses at the 200 and 300 levels.
Requirements:
In addition to a strong commitment to teaching, we seek candidates with a dedication to student mentoring, ongoing scholarly research, and service to the department and college. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in anthropology at the time of application.
